A Careerbreaker Journalism and Media Work Placement gives you the chance to gain very different experience in a very different culture. Whether you’re expertise lies in print, radio or TV media, we can arrange work placements at English language newspapers, radio stations and TV stations.
The importance and power of the written word is particularly pertinent in developing countries where the nation’s poor infrastructure limits the transmission of this information by alternative means.
The structured development of journalism is of vital importance in the successful development of countries and is too precious a medium to leave unnoticed. In order for the media to reach its full potential however it requires outside funding and assistance with fresh ideas and knowledge to help direct and mould the shape it will go on to take.
This is an ideal work placement for really getting to know a new country, its culture and people. We work with a number of publications, radio and TV stations and the opportunities change regularly.
